Schenectady is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Schenectady follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

First time visiting Mila's. Everything was wonderful! The staff, from the hostesses to the wait staff were top notch. The setting, an old bank was very nice, surprisingly not too loud even though there was a good number of diners as it appeared almost full. Our cocktails were delicious. The appetizers (whipped herb ricotta, chicken souvlaki) were wonderful, as was the bread! I had the lobster pasta, which had a very generous amount of lobster atop of linguine. It was very good. Others ordered beef short ribs, harissa roasted chicken, pan roasted salmon, and one other entree that I can't remember. They were all very, very good! We also had a variety of desserts, including Sicilian Blood Orange Sorbet, Chocolate Hazelnut Marjolaine, and dark chocolate tahini cake. Again, delicious.! Our waiter, Tyler was awesome. Knowledgeable about the menu, attentive without being intrusive, and extremely friendly!

This was our first time here. First off, the inside is absolutely beautiful! The interior design is so gorgeous and well thought out. The chairs and booths are incredibly comfortable. There were a lot of guests there the night we went but the sounds weren’t overwhelming. Our server was great. I ordered the garden party cocktail which I wasn’t pleased with. It barely tasted like anything. Basically a slightly sweet sparkling water. So that was disappointing. I decided to just stick with our Saratoga water. For appetizers I had the Moroccan mussels. The sauce was kind of cold but a good flavor nonetheless. Several of the mussels I had were very gritty so didn’t end up finishing it. My husband had the four cheese bread which was phenomenal. Super soft bread and it came with a tomato sauce which was really good too. For dinner I got the lobster pasta which I thought would be creamy but it’s actually a very thin tomato sauce. I wasn’t a fan of that but the lobster was plentiful and tasted great. My husband got the beef short ribs and it was absolutely delicious. Super tender and the flavor was amazing. I would come back for that and the four cheese bread for sure. Bill was $200 with tip

I’d been wanting to visit for a long time, so I came in with high expectations, maybe unfairly so. The meal was genuinely good across the board, but I left feeling like it stopped just short of remarkable. We ordered the labneh, lobster pasta, the steak special, and a few cocktails and beers. Everything was well-executed and enjoyable and nothing disappointed us. The service was warm, attentive, and professional without being intrusive. Our waiter struck the right balance! It was my birthday, and the restaurant acknowledged it sweetly at the end with a chocolate drop-off, a nice touch, even if I missed the actual moment. Small gestures like that do matter. Genuinely good food, pleasant atmosphere, solid service. I’d return and recommend it to others. I just think I’d temper my expectations next time, and let the experience speak for itself rather than arrive with a vision of what I hoped it would be.
